hey, i have a d15b and so far i have i/e/h fuel rail 450cc dsm injectors and a cam gear. my goal is to hit 13-13.5 n/a i want it to be reliable. my question is whats the best way to reach that while still having my car reliable? what head work do you recomend, i was thinking titanum valve springs and retainers, any suggestions on what kind to use. what about compression, should i raise it and if i do is that safe for a daily driver? im new to hondas and d series tuning and just need some advice on how to reach my goal on a budget, im a college student so i dont have alot of money to spend. thanx

its a 93 hatch, i have the 450's because i was plaining on turboing it at first but am deciding against it for reliability purposes

yea drop the 450's and put the 240's back in...but you should bump the compression up port the head, get an agressive cam the zex 59300 gets my vote, other stuff like 4-1 header, intake, tuning, upgraded ecu, good suspension and some slicks along with a good clutch oh and gut it that there coul get you in the 13's...ive got the same goal hopefully ill be there soon.

I ran 13.9 @ 97 mph with 2.0 60 ft. Here's the setup:
A6 block
P29 Pistons
Ported Z6 head
Zex 59300 cam
Skunk2 Intake Manifold
Stock Valves, Springs, and Retainers
Airmass Pro-step 4-1 header
2.5 in exhuast
Ram air intake/velocity stack
ACT clutch, Flywheel
UR crank pulley
B&M fpr
V-AFC.
This is in a 89 hatch that weighs about 1950 lbs , and 2125 lbs with me in it.
That setup was running PRETTY good at best. I have recently finished my new setup, with a different Z6 head, Omnipower valves, and Crower 2 cam, and it runs MUCH better. As it stands, with a 1.8 60 feet, I think my car can run 13.3-13.5 @ 99+ mph. Main thing to getting quick N/A is HIGH compression. It compliments a lot of the bolt-ons and really makes big cams work at peak efficiency.

Was that on stock wheels? Or slicks? Vtec or Non?
I decided to go the NA route and have a ton of things done.
Similar to you. . well. . .this is what i have done. .
D16A6 SOHC non-vtec motor
Ported and Polished Block
SRP Pistons 11:1 comp. ratio
Eagle Connecting Rods
Si Throttle Body Bored to 60mm
D15B7 Intake Manifold Ported and Polished
B16 Injectors
MSD SCI
MSD External Blaster Coil
MSD Distributor Cap
MSD 8mm Wires
NGK Plugs
Iceman Cold Air Intake
Brospeed Catback Exhaust
DC Sport 4-2-1 ceramic header
AEM adjustable Cam Sprocket
AEM Fuel Rail
AEM Adj. Fuel Pressure Regulator
JG 301X Camshaft
JG springs
JG Titanium Retainers
ACT clutch
It runs really strong. . but i have a 89 civic 4 door. . a little more weight.
We are in the tuning phase right now. . which leads me to a question. . how advanced is your timing?

i ran 22x8x15 MT slicks. The Head is Z6 Vtec head. Timing is 12-14 deg btdc on 91 pump gas, and 19 deg btdc on 118 octane leaded gas. I have a innovate LM-1 wideband to tune Air/Fuel ratio, and Gtech Comp Pro to tune powerband.
