are you using OEM or aftermarket valvesprings/retainers?
if OEM, how long have you been running them?

the cam packeage say not to run your stock valve springs just go buy a set of KMS ENGINEERING valve springs and titanium retainers for like 300.00.

interesting
i only ask because rocket on H-T says the OEM z6/y8 springs are good enough for the ZEX stage 2 at 9200rpm where his customers tested them. he only recommends upgrading to TI retainers.
my debate now, is whether or not they're good enough for the crower 2

Are you still on the stock valve springs/retainers? Any problems so far? I'm trying to decide if I can get away with running stock valvetrain with a 53900. My rev limit is set at 7400 rpm and I very rarely get up there.

For my current build, I opted for the zex 53900 w/ matching valve springs & titanium retainers. I also picked up a aem cam gear. So Im hoping after my head work with some other key components to be pushing 135-140 whp then a 75 shot of nitrous:)
