How has everyone mounted their intercoolers and what size are they? I have a fairly large one which covers the complete middle gap in the bumper (stock bumper).

Things is, would it be ok to attach the bottom mountings to the underside of the front bar and then just have a plate attached to the top to bolt to the bonnet latch?

Because the intercooler is in front and blocking up a lot of the airflow to the radiator, will i have problems with overheating?

Finally how did everyone get around the piping on the windscreen washer side of the car?

Thanks

Well if its fairly big then what i would tell you to do, is at home depot or any hardware store get some metal straps there usaully used for holding up duct work in houses, these straps are like 3/16 of in inch thick pretty durable, you can run three straps from the raditor support to your front bumper, then proceed to drill were you need holes than mount, and do the same for the top, and if anything i wouldrun a few to some mount supports to make sure its held tight.....

Thanks not really sure what you meant with the metal straps but i got it sorted anyway.

used the standard bumper and just cut the back of the fins off and it fits perfect!
Tomorrow i'll probably drill the holes and get it mounted.

Anyone any ideas about the pipe route from the turbo?
