pulling the motor from my car next week, should I waste 60.00 on the inserts? It is not like I am losing a lot of money, i just want to see your thoughts on this. The car is naturally aspirated with a built z6 head and other nicknacks.

usually an insert will help your 60' times. It reduces drivetrain shock when you launch and allows you to have better control. I bought jim-fab front and rear mounts and my launch has improved drastically. Our track out here in the middle of no-where isn't prepped very well (it's an airport dontcha-know!) and I get low 2.2 to high 2.1 sec 60' times. This is on m/t 20x8r14 slicks. No wheelspin. Just not enough power to get it any lower.

Inserts are definately worth it IMHO especially if your mounts are getting a little old. Be prepared for a little more vibration in the cabin, but a more stable feel when launching offsets this. Good luck!
