a6 head on y7 block?

well i scored a d16a6 head and IM from a friend. i was thinking bout p&p and doing a 3 angle valve job on the a6 head and putting it on my y7 block. this is basically a direct bolton right? any help appreciated

do it, and throw some p29 or pg6b pistons in it, use a y8 headgasket, this will get your compression up

yes, you will need a6 cam gear and timing belt. Also need something to hook up VTEC. but it is a direct bolt on.

update: im still considering doing this, but i forgot to mention i have dpfi still. can i still put it on with dpfi for the meantime?
