When I let off of the brake pedal, I hear a slight squeak. It sounds like it's coming from the right front. It's not a huge deal, just an annoyance. Could it be something in the caliper that needs some lube? TIA.

Do any suspension or brake work recently??
Check out the thin gauge shield that is behind your brake rotors.
They sometimes get too close to hte rotor, and the rotor may touch it slightly once the brake pads dis-engage.

This has been this way for a long time now, well over a year. By gauge shield do you mean the metal dust shield? Thanks.

No. He means the very thin strip of metal between the pad and the caliper. Its called the "backplate" or "backing plate" (not very original, huh?). Mine dislodged during a quickie pad change from track pads to daily pads and it squeaked.
Also your caliper could be sticking. how old is your car? miles? last brake work? have you ever rebuilt the calipers? clean everything w/ brake solvent? replace your fluid? bleed the brakes? use any lube on the "wings" of the pads?
