I want to lower my 89 civic hatchback so that the top of fender is just barely above the top of the tire. anyone know which springs would do this? anyone know about neuspeed sports or neuspeed race? or any other brand and which ones will achieve this for me?

sounds like you are lowering for looks. probably best to go with a set of ground control coilover sleeves so that you can get exactly the drop that you want. Add a *GOOD* set of shocks, because you are gonna blow your stock ones if you slam it.

Eibach proline 1.6 drop springs.

A basic set of coil overs will work too. Make sure, however, that you get camber kits for both the front and the rear. After installation of the camber kits you will need an alignment. I would also advise against dropping it too low especially if you are rollin on 17s because you will bottom out your suspension everywhere and ball joints are expensive not to mention damage to you fender and tires. If you don't get the camber kits be ready to drop some $ on new tires in about 5k or less. Trust me on this bro I own the exact same car as you. Do it right the first time and avoid future headaches. Thats my $.02 peace!

im gonna have to agree with barto, unless you got the dough to buy some REAL COILOVERS......REAL being the operative word, not some cheap "sleaveovers"
