I was reading a thread about the t3/t4 hybrid turbo. And one of the guys were saying that thats turbo is too big for a 1.6 civic because you'll never see it at full boost. He sad unless it was a completly built motor then maybe..... My question is, is this to big of a turbo for a 1.6 I think they were discussing the t3/t4 hybrid 57 trim. As I have already stated 1000 times I'm just going to use forged rods, je pistons and have exospeed sleeve the block. Someone told me this perticular turbo is capable of 350+hp. I'm just curoius on your oppinions. Thanks guys

Its not too big it will just lag like a bitch. Meaning boost won't come in until upwards of 5-5500+ rpm. If you are looking for big numbers sure it will work if you rev the piss out of it but for the street its useless. Stick with a .40-.50 trim .48 a/r or slightly larger. It will still produce enough boost for strong numbers even on a built motor. A 57 trim is pretty big and slow spooling on a 1.6 again just MHO
