noob needs some help on y8

i recently bought a y8 out of an auto and it didnt come with a IACV or a throttle blody..i got to looking at the manifold and there are no holes on the manifold where a IACV usually goes. whats going on here? what kind of IACV do i need? i have a 88crxhf.

Do you mean a Y8 intake manifold??? If you have a manual Civic, and you don't put on a manual intake mani you will have these problems!

The y8 automatic versions had a throttle body mounted IACV, its a three wire. What you need to do is source a y8 throttle body, manifold and IACV in order to install the engine correctly.

i bought the whole engine ..is there anyway i can buy an auto throttle body and make it work?

seems i didnt need to waste money on a new manifold when all i had to do was a little machining...now all i have to do is port match my jdm c5 throttle body.
