and you're gonna want at least 7" wide wheels.

Otherwise, you won't get the benefit offered by the 225 tire size. If you try to fit them on less than 7" wheels your contact patch will be the same as smaller tires, i.e. 195.

I'm assuming you already have 13's and that the tire size would be a 175/70-13 which would have an OD of 22.65 inches. If you have a 185/65-14 the OD is 23.47 inches.

OD for the 215/50-13 would be 21.46 inches
OD for the 215/55-13 would be 22.31 inches

Either way the 215's would be shorter and make your speedometer read fast.

and you're gonna want at least 7" wide wheels. This is also something to keep in mind as well since putting the wider tires on narrow wheels won't be very effective. Are these for street or track?

215/50/13.

link has several to choose from.

Unless you're really concerned with knowing exactly how fast you're going, the 215/50/13 will be fine

You can do a search to find an online calulator that will tell you how "off" your speedo is. However, I'll venture to guess that the OEM speedo isn't all that accurate in the first place.

I've had one pair of Sumitomo's but they were a different model. I was happy with them for the price, which seems the same according to the reviews for this tire.

Hope that helps.
