My radiator is cracked, looking at fluidyne, also while on their website I noticed that they sell oil coolers as well, is this a good addition to a forced induction honda motor or a waste of money, I have no AC so I would put the cooler next to the radiator in the empty space on my front core support. Any thoughts or opinions. Thanks.

All "remotley sporty" Honda engines onwards are fitted with an Oil/Water heat exchanger as standard - this performs two functions:

When the engine is cold it allows the oil to gain heat rapidly from the water jacket helping the engine to reach operating temp as quickly as possible.

Transfer of heat from the hot engine oil to the colder (in relative terms) water jacket when the engine is being worked hard. Oil plays a large part in cooling modern engines.

You only really need a better oil cooler for track day/sustained hard use or an engine that has been modified to increase power output (and therefore heat output) - this is an especially good idea if you have a turbo as the cooling/lubrication systems are being asked to get rid of considerably more heat than normal.

Having a thermostatic valve as part of an aftermarket oil cooler stops the oil being over cooled when for instance you are cruising down the motorway with then engine under light load, yet there is a large volume of air flowing over the oil cooler.

Do you have any brand names or links on this topic?

If your engine is adequately cooled then there is really no need for it, however it really can't hurt and is probably a good idea.
