Excessive heat? Please help!

Sup guys,

over the past while i am noticing that the exhaust header bolts are baking(turning white, etc) and my spark plugs (gapped properly and changed often) are also turning white meaning they are heating up quite a bit as well.

My temp gauge stays in the normal range.

This seems to have started since i installed a y8 Intake Manifold and 4-1 Header about 10,000 km ago. Engine has close to 150,000km and i havent had this problem before.

The header bolts are soon gonna be on there permanently if i dont periodically loosen/tighten them.

Can anyone suggest what could be causing this?

shoot a picture for us.. maybe someone one here has had the same problem.. i dont know why your header bolts would turn white.. maybe water is somehow getting on there.. take the nuts off and put some anti-seize compound on the exhaust studs so they wont rust up on you..

What plugs are u running and what is your setup??? I know I melted mine with nitrous.
